If a Birds Australia member (or group of members) in  a particular locality organise an outing with the prior approval of BASQ, the members, and any volunteers who are registered for the outing, are covered by the BA Public Liability and Accident Insurance. Participants are obliged to comply with BA policy including in particular the OH&S sign-on and risk assessment..
